Stole my heart

TEMPORARILY ( charmed), or swept away from an isolated situation. In other words, this isn’t permanent, so don’t get ahead of yourself.

Often confused with;

1. Having earned one’s heart
2. Being given one’s heart
You stole my heart last night, when you got on one knee and tied my shoelace. (which would never happen in reality, c’mon)

Bro Roses are Red Violets Are Blue My Heart Is Dead I’m Such A Fool
(Bro) Bro That’s deep still

You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul

Deep in my heart, there's a fire, a burnin' heart
Deep in my heart, there's desire for a start
I'm dying in emotion
It's my world in fantasy
I'm livin' in my, livin' in my dreams
You're my heart, you're my soul
I keep it shining everywhere I go
You're my heart, you're my soul
I'll be holding you forever
Stay with you together
You're my heart, you're my soul
Yeah, a feelin' that our love will grow
You're my heart, you're my soul
That is the only thing I really know
Let's close the door and believe my burnin' heart
Feeling all right come on, open up your heart
I'll keep the candles burning
Let your body melt in mine
I'm livin' in my, livin' in my dreams
You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul
I keep it shining everywhere I go
You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul
I'll be holding you forever
Stay with you together
You're my heart, you're my soul
Yeah, a feelin' that our love will grow
You're my heart, you're my soul
That is the only thing I really know
You're my heart, you're my soul
Yeah, a feelin' that our love will grow
You're my heart, you're my soul
That is the only thing I really know
You're my heart, you're my soul
Yeah, a feelin' that our love will grow

My heart dropped, am I supposed to know this?

Definition: This phrase is commonly used when you want to express that you do not recognize something.

Background: Two 8th graders spoke to FOX 5 NY's Jodi Goldberg about a state-required Earth and Space Science exam they took which they believed was unfair. One of them, Samuel Tae exclaimed: "My Heart Dropped, am I supposed to know this?" The other student, Andy Ryoo, told Goldberg, "The test felt like a reading comprehension test, one of the questions was about toll payments - weather wasn't covered, which is a huge topic, and we spent months on it."
"Yo my bro, this morning, I saw the new guy and my heart dropped, I was like, am I supposed to know this guy?"
"Yo bro, this test was lowkey kinda buns tho, like my heart dropped, am I supposed to know this?"

Be still my heart

An exclamation used to express how exciting or overwhelming something is, literally to the point that it is making one's heart beat too quickly. It is almost often used sarcastically to imply that something is actually unremarkable, dull, or unpleasant; entailing the opposite effect.
Howard: I would have been able to go to the party with Kevin after work, but my hardass boss wants me to stay and finish my co-worker's paperwork for him. Be still my heart!

John: Jane just asked me out, be still my heart!
