It is widely accepted that the only way to break the stare of a minnow is to stare back with the intensity of wolverine. Thus rendering their power useless.

A drink whereby a live minnow (preferably a rainbow minnow) is put in a shot of beer. When the shot is drank, the head is tipped back and beer is kept in the mouth so the minnow can swim around and you can show your friends. Then, down goes the whole mess.
After a stuntman shot, I brought it to another level with the Minnow Shot.
During opening fishing at Lake Vermillion, it's required that everyone in the party do a Minnow Shot.
