Lylas, Lylab

An acronym for "love you like a brother/sister" used for close friends for whom you feel a sibling-like bond. Often found in emails, text messaging, etc. Pronounced "LEE-LAS" or "LEE-LAB". Can be modified to fit certain situations,e.g "LYLAPG" for "Love you like a pet goldfish", etc. Also known as simply "Lyla" as a shortened version.

This word was invented by a group of friends in southern New Hampshire, to explain feeling sisterly or brotherly love without actually having to say the entire sentence.

Other word forms: Love You Sister-Wise, Love you Brother-wise.

As Josh left the building, he called out to his friends, "Lylas, Lylab!"

Lyla

Lylas are usually beautiful, flirty, sweet and funny girls. They know how to have a good time. The party doesn't start until they show up. You never know what to expect with a Lyla around. They always surprise you. Lylas don't give a crap about what you think of them. They have more important things to worry about. They enjoy dressing up and looking nice, but are confident enough to know that they would look just as stunning in their sweats. Lylas really are very special and rare. You are lucky if you got one.

A lolablue is someone that is, truly, the best person you could ever have. Someone who will be there through thick and thin. They are so understanding and maybe a bit too sorry at times ;3 even when things are all good. A beautiful and intelligent girl usually with blonde hair and beautiful eyes. Most guys don’t usually fall for Lylah’s because she usually is very shy around them. But she if an amazing friend who would never betray one of her friends. She keeps a tight circle of friends because it’s hard for her to trust people. If you are one of her friends never let her go.
