To fake listening to someone’s concerns and pretend you are giving consideration to their viewpoint. All the while plotting to take it out on them later if they dare agree to the new deal you propose without meaning what you said.

Dan reached a kompromise with Michelle when he agreed to "take things slow", even though he knew he would get some later that night.
