Janey

A novice female, generally one from the city attempting an outdoor sport. A female Joey. Generally not used as an adjective, though.

Originates with people from the greater Boston or NYC areas traveling to ski resorts in northern New England or Upstate NY, and shouting things like "Hey, Janey! Janey, hit the jump!" to each other, when they clearly have no idea what they're doing.

"Look at that freakin' Janey. I saw her out skiing this morning and she didn't make it off the Green lift once."

Janey- An amazing friend that’s circles around many friend groups and has enormous amounts of talent in many different areas of life. She listens to indie music and can play many different instruments. Not many are close to her but tons of people she meets consider her a friend those who are close know the fun she-devil that’s she is. Not a common name so be aware of some Janeys you stumble upon. Also highly athletic in many different sports but will continue to deny it for who knows long. One of the most humble people you’ll meet but if you complement her too much she will get mad and ignore you. You do not want to get into a fight with this lady cause she has scary people backing her up not to mention quite a few of them. If you scream her name JANey she will give you a death glare that leads you to your grave. Pretty but refuses to accept that she fits society’s standards.

Someone who doesn't seem to like anything, in particular beans, but loves chicken.

Very easy when drunk, and admits it freely. Poor taste in music, including S-Club 7 and Nickelback.
