This technique is a self-directed learning strategy driven by intrinsic motivation and associative reasoning. The learner follows their curiosity through a nonlinear path of inquiry, investigating related topics and foundational concepts in the moment they are encountered. Not to confuse with "infomax" a concept in machine learning.
