hugbox

A hugbox is an online forum in which everyone shares the same opinions as stated in previously submitted definitions. It is essentially the effort of a select group of individuals who have attempted to create a safe haven online for those who share their beliefs. Unfortunately, the internet is a jungle; and there are no safe havens.
Hugbox groups come under fire by individuals whose opinions differ from those expressed within the forum as evidenced by the two previously submitted definitions. This is the essence of the internet: there are people who have different opinions from yours, and they're never going to let you forget it.
In regards to Aspergers syndrome, the term has been used to describe online communities of individuals afflicted with the disorder by those who discriminate against them for one reason or another.

Any forum that shelters those with Aspergers syndrome is likely to be labeled a hugbox.
