Like a hipster, except a hatester "hated" something before it was popular to hate that particular product or service. A hatester refuses to see any value in a product or service that has good qualities because of real or perceived flaws which are typically minor in overall scope.

"As a hatester, I hate Mass Effect 2 since its story is non-existent except for the parts that flesh out the characters and the universe in a way that enriches the experience of the franchise. It's now popular to hate on Bioware, so I'm going to say that Mass Effect 2 isn't worth playing at all despite its universal praise when the game came out and its numerous Game of the Year awards by respectable outlets such as Giant Bomb."

Homester

A person who could either be a sexy hipster or a homeless person. This confusion is often caused by the tendency of hipsters to wear dirty looking, baggy, grey clothes that make them look homeless. Often, from far away, the difference between a homester and a real homeless person is imperceptible.

Alex is such a Hoester That She posted, a breakup, a makeup, a pregnancy scare, a bitchy complaint about men in general, a political endorsement, her period calendar, her new love, her old love, her new new love, her class schedule, a list of her fears, turn-ons, turn-offs, groceries, and things to do before she dies, a chili recipe, her favorite Taco Bell Menu Items, weird pictures of her baby niece hugging a dog, a link to a site that tells you what your name would be if you were in Harry Potter, and some weird note about how best friends hurt you the most, all in seven minute period.
