Yet they still view the world as innately good and will never be satisfied with the mediocrity that most men accept. They realize their plight is in vain, but cannot help but continue to nudge themselves in that direction, usually intoxicated. Not to be confused with the famous quote in the movie Casablanca, where the the protagonist is accused of being a ‘rank sentimentalist’. Nothing like that.
