Cowtown

A small town in Massachusetts called Westport. No one from Westport actually calls this place cowtown because it's embarising. The name was made up because Westport has many farms and cows.

Cowtowning, cowtowing

It is the improper spelling / word for Kowtowing, which means to touch the forehead to the ground while kneeling, as an act of worship, reverence, apology, etc., especially in former Chinese custom. AKA: to kiss someone's ass or to be submissive.

Her boyfriend is a jerk. They broke up because he cheated, but she's already back cowtowning, cowtowing to him trying to get him to take her back.

Cowtown Corn Chowder

Usually the result of an evening of hard drinking followed by some late-night din-din. Followed by a violent comeback of the aforementioned din-din. In July this is also known as Stampede Stew.
