Generally people in Edmonton, Alberta call Calgary cow town.
Probably because Calgary seems to be more cowboy oriented and they make a huge deal out of their Rodeo!

Edmonton guy: "Hey, you wanna go to cow town to party?"
Edmonton gal: "Ha! Cow Town!... ok lets go"
