Brigade

When people from one group, organization, fandom, forum, server, etc. aggressively infiltrates, usually spontaneously, a rival forum, server, or stream; negative criticism is usually given to the victim of a brigade (the event itself sometimes being called a raid), with insults and counter-signaling common. Usually used in the past participle ("brigaded"). Brigades can be done in good humor, but are usually antagonistic in nature.

"We're going to brigade John's stream and spam 'John is a fag' in the chat."

SOS-dan, also known as the SOS Brigade, a fictional club in the japanese light novel, manga, and anime "Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu".

The SOS Brigade has produced is a film intended for the High School cultural festival entitled Episode 00: The Adventures of Mikuru Asahina.

Upright Citizens Brigade

Also known as "UCB." Improv comedy group/school in NYC. Had their own TV show for a while which kicked ass.

The UCB are responsible for such great things as Ass Pennies, The Poo Stick, The Hole in the Sheet, Captain Lunatic, Bong Boy, Thunderball, Supercool, The Bucket of Truth, and The Little Donny Foundation.

Their school has launched many a comedian onto an unsuspecting public, including Rob Corddry and Ed Helms of "The Daily Show."

From the dawn of civilization they have existed in order to undermine it.

They have no government ties and unlimited resources.

SOS Brigade effect

1 - When a club or group is created with no intentions or few members.
2 - When a club creator has high hopes for a club, which none of the members care for.
Named after the anime, "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya".

1: "It seems no one is joining that new science club. I don't even know what they do!"

2: Person A - "The club leader wants us to meet everyday after school!"
Person B - "I don't even care about this club! Talk about an SOS Brigade effect!"
