A state of being where someone is being especially cute, funny, or exhibiting characteristics that only they or the people closest to them would have. Usually used between very close relationships to show love, or to make fun of in a caring way.

Christopher: Hehe, I got a new coat! I got a new blue coat! Yay!

Hailey: Oh my goodness, there is such big whipperness going on over here.

Short for whippersnapper, an archaic English term used to describe lazy young people who would snap whips to pass the time. The shortened “whipper” is used in some of the many dialects of the southern United States, particularly in rural and agricultural communities.
