Get the Vaushing mug.A road film, starring Barry Newman and directed by Richard Sarafian, and released by 20th Century Fox in 1971. Basically, a former solider/cop/racecar driver bets his drug dealer he can get a white Dodge Challenger to San Francisco, CA (from Denver, CO)in 15 hours or less... of course, the Highway Patrol gets pissed and chases him from Rifle, CO all the way to the border of California... along the way, he meets hippies, snake-cultists turned Christian musiccians, nudists, and homosexual robbers, until the end. The story is mostly told through a series of flashbacks, showing Kowalski's (Newman)life, up until the present.

Guy 2: It's a 70s road movie starring Barry Newman, Cleavon Little, Charlotte Rampling, etc. and directed by Richard C. Sarafian.
