Usually used online in an oblivious or trivial format to denote the common catch phrase during a violent event or tragedy.

(Psych) Thick As Pig Shit.
Condition where a child appeared to be completely un-educatable, slow, moronic and lazy, frequently getting into trouble for which (in former times) the only solution was repeated savage arse smacking and caning. These punishments are now known to bring temporary relief from the underlying cause of TAPS, i.e. Anal Distraction Disorder (see ADD). The term is now obsolete, being the former psychological term for the condition now recognised as ADD.

1. Taps (noun) - used to describe the rule in which the first person who taps the person who rolled the blunt hits it next. The person who taps that person goes after him/her, and so on.

Ex: Mary rolled the blunt. Lucy tapped Mary, and she gets the blunt next. Gary tapped Mary, so Mary passes the blunt to him next.

2. Taps (verb) - The act on tapping someone in order to get the blunt next.

the term 'taps' is used to reserve the second position of the cypher when smoking marijuana in a group. for groups larger than 3, this right is reserved only for the individuals positioned to the left and right of the smoke source. it is very similar to calling 'shotgun' when entering a vehicle and wanting to reserve the passenger seat.
