Existential Crisis

Realizing that life is meaningless, worthless, or at best, a shit sandwich.
With the Grexit looming Christine is having an existential crisis. Being a disingenuous creep, and not wanting to face the possibility that she is simply just a highly paid shit supplier to the world shit sandwich market, Christine does not opt to reform the accumulated rot of the IMF but opts instead to blame Greece.

Existential Crisis

An 'Existential Crisis' is when an individual questions the their entire existence and asks themselves whether being alive even has a point or whether it's all pointless. This gets in the way of everyday things such as, making cereal and listening to the next step soundtrack on repeat

Existential Crisis

Obsessively looking for answers, not knowing why you exist, looking for the meaning of life and your reason to be here on Earth.
"My best friend of 5 years told me he was an existential crisis.. I simply asked my therapist what I should have answered.. His response, "Run!"

Mexistential Crisis

The feeling a Mexican who has lived in the US for many years gets when they finally save enough money to retire back to their hometown in Mexico, but then they realize their children are Americanized and will stay living in the USA forever.
I came to the US at age 15 with nothing and worked hard labor and construction for 40 years, breaking my back and sending all my money to my family back home in Michoacan. I finally saved up enough to build a house and retire back in my hometown. I am finally able to live the life I always wanted for myself growing up. I finally made it! I took my teenage kids out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant to celebrate and they ordered corn dogs and spoke to the waiter in English. Talk about a Mexistential Crisis... (sigh).
