Routine

An arbitrary word used by management officials to blur the lines of clarity when clearly losing an argument with an employee or an employee organization or when implementing something without a clear need to do so.

That issue isn't worth addressing. It doesn't happen routinely nor does it rise to the threshold of what we would consider routine.

dead phone routine

A person's excuse that they flaked out on an agreed-upon meeting or date with you because their phone was not working, not paid, or not charged. These excuses are often belied by the fact that a call to the user results in a normal dial tone, rather than going straight to voicemail.

The dead phone routine usually goes something like this:

1. "Sorry, I got stuck downtown and my phone died."
2. "Hey I just got my phone back up I had to pay it first."

When someone has clear ass skin. The person who receives the sentence doesnt have to have a skincare routine and doesnt have to actually share the skincare routine as it can be meant as a compliment as well.

"Drop your skincare routine king, it's glowing"

"Wow Hannah's skin is gorgeous today. She should drop her skincare routine"

Nigel routine

Doing exactly the same thing at exactly the same time everyday, such as watching last nights documentary/newsnight on BBC iplayer on lunch hours. Inspired by Nigel's actions in the office (every day).

Dawn: "I'm bored of doing the same thing every day and being so predictable"
Neil: "You're stuck in a Nigel routine!"

Stephen: "I go out too much and spend too much money on dinner times!"
Neil: "Why don't you try a Nigel routine?"
