Karl Rove was involved in Plamegate.

plaa is a german verb used by the "cool" kids in variuos ways.

it is possible to associate it with an good and bad meaning.

for example:
"Dein T-Shit ist richtig plaa".
("Your tshirt is really plaa")
could mean your shirt is either nice or not the best fitting for your "bierbauch"

plaa is used in multiple german memes.
