I started painting my life or the perfect picture

To paint a picture with your words

Reality-painting → more poetic and nuanced. It suggests deliberately painting a version of reality that looks different from the truth. It can be beautiful, subtle, and not necessarily an outright lie.
Façade-painting → more explicitly deceptive. It suggests covering what is underneath with an attractive surface so people believe something else.
