A term used for e-mails written by people at the height of boredom and then sent en masse to everyone you can think of, often found in the deepest reaches of teenage inboxes.

"Spesh, stop sending me PBE's"

PBEM, Play by E-mail, is an acronym that refers to playing a turn based game with someone else via e-mail. Usually this is done by exchanging a file back and forth. Games played in this manner are usually more spread out in time than playing in person.
