a way to describe something that is more awesome then just regular awesome. in other words, when the word awesome just can't describe how awesome something is.

The sticking of the word Awesome and Sauce to claim that a certain object or activity is an awesome brew, or soup.

Basically the object or activity has more 'Awesome' in it than most objects and activities in it's genre.
