Must Be Nice

Used by workplace managers and bosses to lay guilt and shame upon their employee’s vacation plans and/or anything that is not work oriented.

Usually preceded with a "Hmm.." or an "Oh..wow" and sometimes just an eyebrow raise and nod of the head.

-Employee (sheepishly): "So uh, I am thinking of taking an extra day off after Memorial Day for..uh.."
-Boss (sternly): "Oh wow! --- really?...for what?"
-Employee: "Well...something...you know...well I just need that day off."
-Boss: "Hmmm... Must Be Nice

An expression to be used when you are unable to locate a person who you could have sworn was just there or should be in a location where he/she is not currently.

NOTE: Ideal usage should only be employed by those who are cognizant of Bob Griese and his off-hand, and not to mention off-color, remark regarding a Columbian (although Mr. Griese assumed he was Mexican in light of his statement) NASCAR racer who fell from the top five ranking.

"Hey, where the hell did Mark go? He was just here a second ago, wasn't he?"

"Yeah, I thought I just saw him."

"Huh...must be out getting a taco."

Passive-aggressive phrase used by jealous people who see themselves as victims. Commonly used by "have-nots" to guilt trip the "haves".

*guy pulls up in a 10 year old Corvette that he worked his whole life for*
Jealous person in beat-up minivan: "must be nice to afford fancy sports cars!"

an item in a shop or store that has NO PRICE on it. one must then chase down an "agent" , who will usually take many moments to find the price (or NOT) i usually just walk away !...too much trouble !

What an ignorant person or dealership tech says the problem is when he or she does not have the mental capacity to properly diagnose an electrical problem in a vehicle. This conclusion is typically drawn after a tech plugs in a scan tool that does not tell him what the problem is and has no clue how to troubleshoot further.
