Middlefornia

The vast exspanse of land that covers the interior of the southern portion of the state of California. (e.g. Inland empire). Greatly resembles middle America: All the same defects but always over 100 degrees. Inhabitants sport such trashy brands as PBR and Tapout. Cowboy hats are prevalent, as is obesity and some twisted form of christianity.
On my way back to L.A. from my trip to mammoth, I was dying for some inn n out ad so I reluctantly stopped in Lancaster, even though it is the capital of Middlefornia.

Middlecare

Middlecare - when you start to worry that the amount of aftercare needed for what you are doing is going to become unrealistic or unattainable so you stop in the process of the action to randomly and uncharacteristically provide your partner with a completely unexpected compliment, gift or reassurance.
"I was tearing into her so bad that I took a break to hand her a flower and remind her that she looks great with no makeup on... After providing the middlecare I assumed that she needed, I proceeded to step on the back of her head, pushing her face back into the wet bowl of dog food while degrading her for not being able to eat with her muzzle on"

Coined by an anonymous career civil servant of the U.S. Federal Government.
"My ability to get anything done was stymied by the 'concerns' of middlecrats who needed to sign off on the project."

"Can you believe that littlecrat was using my laptop as a footrest under their desk for 6 weeks because I didn't give them a Starbucks gift card for doing their job?"
