McNair went on singing a 28.7 million dollar contract to play football for the Oilers. Then went on to lead the Oilers to a victory over the NY Jets. In that game alone he trew for 198 yards. He moved back to Mount Olive to a 640 Acre ranch. He was the starting quarterback for the Oilers by 1977.
