cyber-lynching

The takedown of a person or peoples by a group of other people via social website. Usually involving ex-boyfriends, cheaters, liars and whores getting a bashing of their email inbox by the flood of hate they recieve. The equivalent of a lynching mob, but, unlike IRL, no physical damage is inflicted. Usually occurs on Facebook ('status wars') or Bebo.

Coined by writer/artist Gerj Hadde T.M.F.U. in an essay on subtleties of racism c.2016.

To assert prejudice against someone solely based upon his/her outward appearance or physical characteristics.

A form of sneak racism. However, it can often times exist amongst a people or group of individuals belonging to the same race, class, or religion.
