"New information about this man. He believes that God exists. So he's a religious man." - about man, who believes in God.
"When you told me something I'm already known, this not provides new information to me at all" - about someone, who's already accepted information or does not accept is completely.

information witch 

An alternate name for a librarian or information professional. Usually used in a derogatory or teasing manner.
Our group was in the middle of working on project when this information witch came over to our table and told us to be quiet.

information superhighway 

Laughably outdated term for the Internet. Mostly used during the 90s by yuppies who made their own awful-looking web pages.
