Get the Doing a Grealish mug.Greeklish refers to the blend of English and Greek, in the speech of people who speak parts of two languages, or whose normal language is different from that of the country where they live. Greeklish is not a pidgin language. It is totally informal; there are no hard-and-fast rules. There is no clear demarcation between Greeklish and simple bad Greek or English.

Get the Grenglish mug.When people write in greek using english characters. Most commonly used by greeks, sometimes because they're too stupid to install a greek keyboard or to look "cool" or some shit. It sometimes makes the (already kind of confusing) greek language even more confusing, sometimes even unreadable, especially for non-native greek speakers.
An example of greeklish:
Geia sou Aggele, ti kaneis?
In actual greek:
Γεια σου Άγγελε, τι κάνεις;
English translation:
Hello Angel, how are you?
