Goonage

A trend of the year 2009 that involved teenagers causing havoc throughout residential streets pushing and punching any living organism such as dogs, cats, children and the elderly.
As the violent acts occurred the teens would belt "GOONAGE! GOONAGE! GOONAGE!" relentlessly.
Martial law was issued and the goonage fad ended far too late after 3 deaths to the elderly, 17 hip replacements and countless numbers of scraped knees, injured pets and tears shed.

Goonage

The inevitable result when an individual or group of individuals tackle a simple task with misguided enthusiasm colliding with stark incompetence. Often, due to their bumbling antics and sheer lack of common sense, the outcome is a cascade of errors, blunders, and lack of foresight so spectacularly absurd it defies logical explanation. The ensuing chaos of the failure almost becomes comical leaving the surrounding bystanders scratching their heads in disbelief and bewilderment.
