when a jazz cat plays some hip and modern lines in a solo. It can also be used outside of this context in everyday conversation as a synonym for gas, gloopy or whack but all in a positive way

Friend 1: “what do you think of John Coltranes solo on moments notice”?

British slang for enjoying a pleasant afternoon reading a book while drinking Lady Grey tea and nibbling on lemon bars.

Whilst reading his book on gardens, drinking tea, and eating a lemon, the man felt very blongle glonky.
