- the fastest way to make someone who works in the software development industry cringe like fingernails on the chalkboard.

Get the Glitch mug.Anything that makes life more difficult,
usually something that is itself trivial,
but is necessary for something else to happen.
Who knows where this came from? Lord knows, but he's not telling. Besides, God doesn't do technology.
I like to think its roots are in the words "glue" and "itch".
But of course, we all know it was developed under grant, for use in science organizations prone to error, such as NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and the nano-technological field in general, where glitches have been made so small as to appear totally correct and self-repairing.

FROM AN ACTUAL EMAIL:
"Apparently one needs software loaded on the computer to download photos from this digital camera. If I can get that software, do you think it will be for PCs and Macs?
Little glitches in the road."

Get the glitch mug.To get ObamaCare passed, the President said “No matter how we reform health care, we will keep this promise to the American people: If you like your health-care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health-care plan, period. No one will take it away, no matter what.” But there is a glitch in the Affordable Healthcare Act that in many cases requires insurance companies to replace the so-called substandard health care plans that we like with plans that meet certain minimum requirements but are more expensive and have higher out-of-pocket expenses.

"Hey man, do you wanna do some GLITCH?"
"What's up? I got some GLITCH if you want to do some."
"I'm aching for some GLITCH man. Can you help me out"
*I do not condone the use/abuse of any drugs, and this is for informational purposes only. I simply post valuable "harm reduction" information about drugs in general, so as to avoid even one single more casuality from not only drug abuse, but drug MIS-USE. However, to stay unbiased, there IS a thing called moderation. Remember folks, the "responsibility" lies with YOU.*
