Fanetteing

A painting technique where a grooved trowel is used to spread medium to low viscosity paint across a flat surface leaving very defined grooves and ridges.
It is named for the artist. Though there is some controversy over whether or not she pioneered the technique, or simply copied it.

An European gentlewoman of the Upper Class. She was known equally for her kindness and her vicious determination. Francetonburg would dexterously dispatch her foes with a cool and calculated precision. Tales given have also noted her for her charitable work for the poor. She would perform her violin compositions for the masses every Sunday at noon.
She was a woman to be loved and feared.
