Derived from the Playstation 2 game, God of War 2, it refers to the Golden Fleece from the story of Jason and the Argonauts. To fleece, is to, as in the game, reflect a person's own attack, strike, verbal assault, back at them.

A derogatory term, usually applied to a Canadian. Refers to someone who wears high-end camping gear in urban or otherwise inappropriate settings. This type of person typically sees themselves as a 'lone wolf', or somehow removed from acceptable social conventions. Although they often picture themselves in a canoe, on a wind driven lake, they are most often found at a desk and on a computer.

Only a fleece queen would wear a Marmot shell with a shirt and tie.

Fleece Johnson
