Not sure what it means but it sounds cool to say. Mostly the same meaning as "I don't play", "i don't play games" or "I'm not joking I'm serious so don't mess with me".
I first heard it from Stevie Emerson on YouTube.

"don't play games with me" this phrase is usually used to express an emotional reaction to an idiot(men) trying to make a woman react in an unpleasant manner, and when a man usually hears that he should know to go and make whoever said it spaghetti bolognaise YES👍

This saying is used as a means to express a liking of something that generally would be 'too good to be true.' It is to be said in a non-deadpan manner, with optimistic tone. When said, emphasis should be on the word 'my.'
For an alternative usage of this saying, it could be something that you dislike or would rather someone not say even if its true, but you must change your tone accordingly.
Often times this saying can be started by using the word "listen."

Ex2:
Dave: I cant believe we didn't even get to try the cake, its already all gone!
Laura: Listen, don't play with MY emotions, they didnt even leave us a crumb.

When a customer comes in with her son and you make references towards having relations with her in front of her son but then rescind the other by using work as an excuse.
Mom: What are you doing later?
Employee: I'm sorry but I subscribe to the methodology of Don't play where you eat.
