Can be used to refer to anything, such as electronics and others, but is derived from the noun "chop shop", where stolen cars had their parts removed in order to sell it or use in a different vehicle

Chop shop is slang for the digital editing of photos. The term originates from Adobe Photoshop, the image editor most commonly used by professionals for this purpose
