A male who's beyond alpha... A prototype has the capacity to bend reality in his own ways, especially in regards to getting chicks. The opposite of a prototype male would be a final release male, which is much worse than a beta male.

Giertzan prototype

An attempt at building something that failed to function spectacularly and with great fanfare upon public demonstration. Named after Simone Giertz of Simone's Robots and her wonderful implements that fail so hard they consistently succeed.

If my prototype for physical computing does not perform as intended on demo day, I'll pretend that the purpose was to build a Giertzan prototype.
