An employee who, having fought the powers-that-be repeatedly, and has been beaten down repeatedly, who is now reluctantly-but-resignedly following the company line in a drone-like fashion. The visual is of someone nodding up-and-down to whatever is asked of them, putting in time until either retirement or a better job comes along, while silently thinking, "If that's what they want, that's what they're gonna get - and nothing more!"

Bobblehead
Racial slur for Indian people because when they affirm what is being said they bobble their head from side to side. In American culture, this behavior looks similar to someone shaking their head to denote "no", so there can be some confusion as the Indian head shaking actually is a positive affirmation in their own culture.
When I asked the bobblehead cashier at 7-11 if they sold slurpees, he shook his head which meant "yes."
