bitextual

In New Zealand, where there are only two major mobile phone companies, to be bitextual is to own at least two phones, one for each company. The purpose of this is to take advantage of competing but complimentary deals.

The name comes from the common usage of text, or SMS, messaging in New Zealand.

I wanted to get Telecom's $10 texting, and Vodafone's free weekend texting. So I became bitextual.

Usually in high school theatre, one who both techs and acts in plays;

One who violently believes in the "show MUST go on" mentality and assists the production both on and backstage

The sound tech got sick, so I was bitexual and ran sound when I wasn't onstage.
