Bahamas

My country, The Bahamas is an archipelago of 700 islands and cays surrounded by a mass of clear blue ocean, The capital of The Bahamas is Nassau, New Providence other islands include Grand Bahama, Andros, Abaco, and other family islands. As a Bahamian, our language is English. There are a diverse population including predominately Haitians, Chinese and Philippines. In our school system we are taught American English and British English, however we love to shorten words and create idioms and phrases we call “Bahamianese.” The majority of Bahamians are coloured.

A high-end American brand, manufacturing casual clothes with a tropical flair. They are famous for their flower patterned linen shirts, colorful khaki pants, and light cotton knits. It is often worn by either wealthy boat-owning retirees or well-off University bros on vacation who are looking for a more exotic alternative to their usual preppy brands.

3) In the Final Fantasy RPG series, the King of the Dragons, who can be summoned during battle and breathes a devastating breath called Mega Flare.

The name Bahamut is the Arabic version of Behemoth in the Hebrew Bible.

Bahamian

(pronounced Buh-HAY-mee-enz) A person who has parents or ancestors born in The Bahamas who were at one time a citizen of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas after it became independent, not including those who remained British citizens after The Bahamas gained its independence in 1973. Bahamians are 85% black, although there are also 12% white and 3% Asian or Hispanic. Bahamians are usually very good looking and have soothing accents.

I am a Bahamian because my father was born in The Bahamas and was a citizen until he was 18 years of age.
