A word that can either be used as a negative or positive term. It can be used against small people, big people, fat, skinny, or any race. In the negative terminology it usually means a person who is being annoying or getting on someones nerves. It cannot be used in public in negative terms, only privately, and is not allowed on TV, Radio, or any social media. On the positive side, it be used on someone that has just done something hilarious or joyful, or on someone who did something outstanding and mind-blowing.

The term was coined by Rich Hall in the early 1980s on a cable television show called, Not Necessarily the News. Hall co-wrote and starred in the satirical comedy series from 1983 until 1990 where he coined the term "sniglet" to describe newly created words. He collected and published several volumes of books of them.
We had a hard time finding the left turn lane, and could not see the left turn arrow, due to the bargus on our windshield.

For more perverse and covert purposes of unmentionable nature, the word BANGUS may also refer to any girl or woman that has the name or nickname which sounds similar to "bangus", "bangus belly" or "belly". Some names that fit the description are listed below:
