1) When someone does something, or constantly does things, that is/are considered to be more than just being a weirdo.
2) A person who is always tripping out on things, or people, beyond a weirdo type way.

1) Whenever I.C.P. is on the radio Paul starts trippin' on beard all thinking he's a wicked clown by painting his face and swinging his hatchet around.
