The worst word in history used to describe 8-12 year olds when 8-10 year olds are nothin like 11-12 year olds. Pre-teens (10-12 year olds) hate being called such an annoying derogatory term and you should never use it.

Mom: RaIsInG A tWeEn Is So HaRd!!!
12 yr old: I my goood mom SHUT UP
11 yr old: *dies of embarrassment*
10 yr old: Wtf is a “tween”???
8 year old: Yeah what even does that mean? Sounds stupid.
9 year old: How could you even compare an 8 year old to an 11 year old? Why would you compare me to 12 year old?? We are nothing a like!!

A contraction of the words in between.

1) It is an item or person that is in between two things.

Examples: a) Something that is small between two larger things. b) A person stuck in the middle between two sides of an argument.

2) The middle person of a threesome.

This task to do at work is a tweener. We don't have to do as much work as that large project, but it is not a simple job either.

a made up age group consisting 9-12 year olds who very desperately want to be teenagers despite still being children. they'll act way older than they actually are by putting on makeup, dating, dressing up, ect.. i honestly just find them cringe tbh. like chill pookie, why are you rushing to grow up instead of enjoying your childhood??
