Pansexuality is sexual, romantic or emotional attraction towards people regardless of their sex or gender identity. Pansexual people may refer to themselves as gender-blind, asserting that gender and sex are not determining factors in their romantic or sexual attraction to others.
This attraction includes people who do not identify with any gender (agender). While pansexuality does not mean you are attracted to everyone, it’s more accurate to think of it as someone who is open to being sexually attracted to anyone. Many pansexual people describe themselves as being attracted to people based on personality, moral character, and not gender.
