Lobby Jacking is the act of masturbating when you are in a call of duty or any online games lobby. If you finish before the timer runs out you win. Can be done in other situations ie; microwaves counting down.

Lobby Purgatory

Lobby Purgatory is when you're playing a game and you're stuck in the game's lobby for huge amounts of time or even forever. Most common game for this to happen is Landfall Games' April fools 2018 joke "Totally Accurate Battlegrounds"

Jim: Why hasn't the game loaded yet?
Bob: You must be stuck in Lobby Purgatory.
Jim: *leaves game*
Bob: OH GOD STOP
Jim: *dies*
Bob: *dies*

Lobby Hop

An act of one switching lobbies in an online game multiple times in quick succession in hopes to find a certain person who may be:

Appearing offline;

Not joinable through profile;

May have blocked the person attempting to lobby hop.

This person could know the lobby hopper irl, or the lobby hopper could be trying to find a popular content creator for that game and thus don't know each other irl.

Kyle was lobby hopping for 3 hours straight in GTA Online to try and find a content creator named Dempy - he was unsuccessful.

Actively trying to join a lobby with someone without joining them directly. Normally used to go head to head with someone you don’t like.

Friend: “why are we being pulled in and out of lobbies?”
Me: “I’m lobby sniping bob, he annoyed me so I’m gonna try and join his game to annoy him”

A thief of packages, mail, etc., from apartment building lobbies and other common areas. Identical to "porch pirate" but targets multifamily buildings rather than single-family homes. ("Ladrone" is Spanish for thief.)
