They still release new music as of 2022 and have collaborated with The Chainsmokers, Rihanna, and most recently BTS. The lyrics of Coldplay's songs often have very personal meaning to the artists, often talking about relationships, emotion and the beauty of the world.
'When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse'
