Bombfire

A large public fire, built on a derelict or abandoned lot in the neighbourhood. These lots are known as "bomb sites" or "bomies" as they were often, at one time, the result of a bomb strike during World War 2; after the war the name stuck for any empty lot. A bomfire is a fir purposely built on a bomb-site. Commonly done on November 5th, or Guy Fawkws Night.

Lets collect some wood for the bombfire.

Bombfood

A great song created by Danish thrash metal band "Artillery" in which the glorification of the military is criticized. How war is treated as an adventure to naive young men so they fight and die overseas unwary of the consequences is a huge topic within this song.

More specifically, this song conveys this message through the usage of a protagonist that thinks the military will be a grand adventure, later finding out how horrible the horrors of war really are.

On the "By Inheritance" album

Guy 1: "I just listened to a great song called Bombfood"
Guy 2: "The intro riff kicks ass! It sounds like shells of artillery are raining down upon you as you dramatically run for your life during war. 10/10 would recommend."
