Be it toxic behavior, mismatching personalities, or for another example, someone might say "I love you but fuck you" if they feel deeply attached to their partner but are frustrated by a repeating pattern of broken promises or actions that hurt the relationship.

The worse version of “I love you” without the “I” the saying is meaningless. Basically like saying you don’t love someone enough to type out the whole phrase too. It hurts my soul when people say this to me. Just put the “I”. Please.
