PYD stands for Pimp Your Dreams.
It's a way of thinking to live your life as you want.
Also refers to having lots of ambition.

Girl: I don't know what I want to do in life, I don't have any projects, my life is sooo boring...
Boy: Come on girl, Pimp Your Dreams! You can get whatever you want in your life, if you have the ambition for it.

A harsh reality that many people come to the United States in order to start over and live a better life by having freedom, social equality, better education, and money, but yet for most people who come to this country, this dream will be impossible to completely achieve until several generations later, assuming they have a family with children, because of limited resource access and education, poor understanding of the social norms that most people in America actually follow, and distrust of immigrants in some parts of the country.
Pema and her family moved to America from Nicaragua in the hopes of starting over and help her children live better lives than what they had in their homeland, but they found it was exceedingly difficult to live in the U.S. because of the differences of America’s social norms compared to Nicaragua’s social norms and difficulty getting a job and finding decent housing. They are experiencing the American dream paradox.

Used to reduce the shock at the end of a story which involves a instance for which there is no proper reaction. Such as revealing an embarassing secret, or telling something to the listener that they weren't supposed to know.
Person 1: "When I was a kid, I had a uncle who touched me inappropriately."
Person 2: ".......What?"
Person 1: "W-Well, that was the dream that I had."
Boyfriend: "So I was hanging with my boys at the bar last night and-"
Girlfriend: "Bar? My mother's funeral was yesterday, and you said you couldn't get off work."
Boyfriend: "...........I mean, that was just the dream that I had."

"Set Sail and Dream" is not a specific term or phrase that has a universally recognized meaning. It could potentially be interpreted in a couple of ways:
Literal interpretation: "Set Sail and Dream" could refer to the act of embarking on a sailing journey or adventure while indulging in dreams and aspirations. It evokes the idea of setting off on a voyage and allowing oneself to imagine or pursue one's ambitions.
Figurative interpretation: "Set Sail and Dream" could also be seen as a metaphorical expression encouraging individuals to follow their dreams and aspirations, to take risks, and venture into the unknown. It suggests embracing a sense of adventure, optimism, and the pursuit of personal fulfillment.
Without further context, it's difficult to determine the precise meaning intended when using the phrase "Set Sail and Dream." It could be a personal motto, a slogan for a company or event, or simply a poetic expression meant to inspire imagination and ambition.
