Acronym for Miami-Dade Transit. It has 2 Metrorail lines with 23 stops, 1 Bus Rapid Transit Line, 3 Automated People Mover Lines (Metromover), and 93 bus routes. It connects with Tri-Rail at 2 stops (MIA and Tri-Rail) and should connect with Amtrak when it relocates Miami Station to the airport. It connects with Brightline at Government Center Station and should connect with Tri-Rail at Government Center once its extension opens. It receives criticism for breaking lots of its Metrorail-related promises.

The stops on Miami Metrorail are Palmetto, Okeechobee, Hialeah, Tri-Rail, Northside, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza, Brownsville, MIA Airport, Earlington Heights, Allapattah, Santa Clara, Civic Center, Culmer, Historic Overtown/Lyric Theatre, Government Center, Brickell, Vizcaya, Coconut Grove, Douglas Road, University, South Miami, Dadeland North, and Dadeland South
