If you live under the expressway your considered "poor" because its *gasp* the ..north...shore. OMG NOT THE NORTH SHORE!

oh and if you live on the south shore, your considered poor if you dont drive a white mercedes/lexus/bmw etc. you HAVE to try to act like the gottis and you need to be orange 24/7. they even opened a tanning salon at the mall!

i hate it here, i wish this island would sink its useless and the whole city of new york is ashamed that it belongs to it as one of it's boroughs. :

Dirty ass borough of new york, no trains go to it, you can take ferries with drunk ass captains though. People smoke a ton of weed there but staten island weed is light green and has almost no smell coz its crap. Italians move there and wish they didnt, italian kids try to act black while, and only have one activity outside of smoking weed which is hanging out at the mall

Yo holla paisan! Lets go chill at the mall, then smoke some "weed" after that we can go on the ferry, then go home and eat some lasagna and ravioli

A place where there is ALWAYS traffic on the staten island expressway, everyone has an attitude problem, the girls are mostly trash with the exception of a few, mostly everyone lives in connected town houses or condos and thinks their brand new altima's are the hottest thing. They think they are "italian" meanwhile they're "italian-american". I've been to italy and REAL italians are not like Staten Islanders. do yourself a favor if you're ever driving thru staten island KEEP MOVING. The people are garbage! Only if the ppl from staten island couldnt get off that island! ..but luckily enough their TOO POOR too travel anywhere else besides the jersey shore or brooklyn and maybe spring break if they save for months.. so dont worry the rest of the world is safe from them!!

fake ass "borough" of nyc. the only "borough" without subways. kids from there think the north shore is the worst ghetto out there...even though there's like 2 project buildings on the whole island...there's barely any tough areas in staten island except for maybe parts of stapleton and st. george...which wouldn't equal a fraction of whats bad in jersey. pretty-boy greaseballs try to act black and drive daddy's mercedes around and they're all apparently from the mafia...go figure. they talk shit bout jersey when they finally move there cuz they think its one big farm..and thats only cuz they stay in the mansion they moved into in marlboro or colts neck or one of those towns..yet catch em in a bad area of jersey and they get sent back over the outer bridge in a body bag

5th borough where im from. The North Shore is made up of neighborhoods composed of either minorities (St. George) or crazy rich white people (todt hill dongan hills) and is mostly wack. The south shore where im from is mostly guido-ass italian people like me most of whom buy every 50 cent cd but piss their pants at the sight of an actual black person, and aspire to be eminem. The girls down here are mostly hot, hotter than north shore girls or girls from any other boro.

Staten Island is cool from Eltingvile down, every where else you find ugly girls and gay kids

Staten Island Shuffle

The act of driving up alongside stopped traffic and pulling your car into the front of the line rather than waiting at the back of the line.

Rather than wait in line to merge onto the parkway, I did the Staten Island Shuffle.
