Depression

My definition of depression is probably recognizable.

Imagine going to a beach and swimming in the water. Having fun until something suddenly pulls you down under and holds onto you. You’re screaming for help but know one seems to hear better yet care. So you’re just stuck there, watching everyone carry on with their life while you’re down under water drowning, trying to scream for help but have no voice left to say anything.

That is what depression feels like to me

Girl 1: look at that girl. She looks like a wreck
Girl 2: Don’t say that. That girl over there has depression

My life. What? You were expecting a definition. Why are you looking up depression. Are you ok man? You sure? Reach out, people are here to help you. Don’t ever think you have no one because so many people are going through the same thing and trust me your not alone. Even if you don’t realise it people are out there to help you and if you left this world the world would be affected. Please. We all love you don’t give up. Don’t let the world beat you

Depression is common. But not everyone experiences it the same. So remember you are not alone. And people are there to help
